My Grandpa's Famous Terriyaki Beef Recipe!

Don't you wish you could eat with me? Well, the Orange Chicken Recipe is from somewhere online, our friends Seth and Kate found it. But i'm gonna put it up here for you, as long as you tell me what you think of it! But the terriyaki can't be up here, its a family recipe, sorry!

Panda Express Orange Chicken
Orange Sauce
   3 Tbsp. Soy Sauce
   3 Tbsp. Water
   10 Tbsp. sugar
   10 Tbsp white vinegar
   Zest of 1-2 oranges
Combine all ingredients for sauce, set aside or refrigerate.

Breaded Chicken
2 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken, chopped into bite-sized pieces
    1 egg
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1/2 c. corn starch
    1/4 c. flour
    Oil (for frying)
Place chicken pieces in large bowl. stir in egg, salt, pepper and 1 Tbsp. oil and mix well. Stir corn starch and flour together. Add chicken pieces, stiffing to coat. Heat oil for deep frying in wok (I don't have one, so I use my deep frying pan). Add chicken, small batches at a time and fry 3-4 minutes or until golden crispy. Remove chicken from oil with slotted spoon and drain on paper towel; set aside.

Stir-Fry
    1 Tbsp. ginger root, minced
    1 tsp. garlic, minced
1/2 tsp crushed hot red chili pepper
    1/4 c. green onion, chopped
1 Tbsp. apple or white grape juice
    1/4 c. water
    1 Tbsp. corn starch
    1/2 tsp. sesame oil (optional)

Clean pan and heat 15 seconds over high heat. Add 1 Tbsp oil. Add ginger and garlic and stir-fry until fragrant; about 10 sec. Add crushed red chilli pepper and green onions. Add juice and stir 3 seconds. Add orange sauce and bring to boil. Add cooked chicken, stirring until well mixed. Stir water into corn starch until smooth and add to chicken. Heat until sauce is thickened. Stir in sesame oil and orange zest if desired.

Yummmm... you won't be sorry!
