Happy 6 Months, Ben!!

Ben has accomplished so much in the past month, its a wonder that he isn't walking and talking yet... BUT WAIT! He is kinda talking... he says mamamama but it comes out more like muhmuhmuhmuh... and its usually when he's crying or screaming and wants momma to hold him! he has also been know to say bababa when he's hungry.
For the past, oh about 3 weeks, he's been getting up on his knees and "scooting" forward just a little bit. Most of the time he get up, cries because he doesn't know how to get going, then flops forward on his tummy.. getting a little further each time. Its so cute to watch, I'll post a video later!
Ben cut his first tooth on Jan. 1! His second tooth came just under a week later. For all those new moms out there who's babies havn't teethed yet, watch out, because it hurts like the devil when they bite. Yes, Ben bit his momma about 5 times yesterday, each with the consequences of getting flicked in the head and pulled off and not allowed to eat for a few minutes; both of which he was not happy about. Yet, you gotta do what ya gotta do!
Ben loves his cereal still, but has yet to enjoy pureed vegetables. He'll eat bananas and applesauce, but spits out squash and green beans.
Unfortunately, Ben has been super fussy lately, wanting to be held all the time, and i'm not sure if its just that he was used to being held on vacation or that he is allergic to something i've been feeding him. So we've decided to hold on the pureed foods to see if its that. He has been sneezing a lot lately and his nose is always crusty and runny. Could be just a side effect of teething, but better be safe than sorry.

I can't believe my baby is now 6 months old! Only 6 more months and he'll be a year old. Oh man, I can't even think of that! He's getting so big, it makes me so sad and happy at the same time. I'll be glad when I don't have to get up every 4 hours to feed him, but sad that we don't share that time together anymore.
